About
I love words. I love the tantalizing way they feel, the sounds they make, the way they act when they line up next to one another, and the stories they beg to tell. I love playing with them, puzzling over them, and researching them.
I love books. As the daughter of a librarian and English Literature teacher, there really was no other course for me. Books teach empathy, widen our perspective, provide comfort, and offer friendship. Books help us understand this world, while giving us the opportunity to explore others.
I love children. I have two of my own and have taught children of multiple ages. I love their curiosity and wonder at the world, their unfiltered joy and often honest wisdom, and their excitement for books and stories.
I love to write books for children.
